Animal Talk Rescue

Animal Talk Rescue has helped provide homes for abandoned animals in Seattle for over 18 years. In 2007, this no-kill animal shelter saw 1155 cats and kittens placed into new adoptive homes.

It is our mission at the shelter to end the plight and suffering of homeless, neglected and abused companion animals and to educate the public about the benefits of spaying and neutering.

Pet Adoption

The Animal Talk Rescue adoption center is located inside Animal Talk Pet Shop. Weekends can be a very busy time, so please be patient with us if we're swamped when you get there. Most of our adoption ready cats can be found on PetFinder.com.

Help Save an Animals Life

There are many ways you can help improve the life of an impoverished animal

Cash Donations

Animal Talk Rescue would not exist without monetary donations that fund essential procedures such as vaccinations, life saving surgeries, and more. Donate online using Paypal by clicking on the Visa donate button- It's fast, secure, and easy to do.

Volunteer

Caring for our kitties is a full-time job and we need all the helping hands we can get. Cuddling up with a grateful cat and hearing a loud satisfied purr is the tangible reward you will get for helping animals in need. Please call the rescue at (206) 526-1558 if you would like to volunteer.

Foster a Needy Animal

While the Rescue tries to accomodate as many animals as possible, space at the shelter is limited. Animal Talk Rescue provides foster homes with all necessary expenses, including food, litter and medical care. The foster homes provide their foster kitties with the time, love, and space that they need.

Donate Items

Our rescue cats and kittens can always use donated supplies. Some of our most frequently used items include bath towels, paper towels, bleach, Dawn dish soap, laundry detergent (with bleach), sturdy & hard plastic crates of all sizes, pet food, new & unused carpeting, ceramic pet dishes, new or clean litter boxes & cat toys.

Call (206) 526-1558 or visit Animal Talk Rescue online today to find out how you can help.
